      The Residence Hall Director is responsible for the residential life functions in one or more residence halls, housing up to 500 students. Through supervision of up to 16-18 Paraprofessional Staff fosters a clean, safe, positive, and inclusive community environment that encourages students to develop their full potential. This position includes educational, supervisory and administrative functions that promote student engagement, academic success, personal development, a strong sense of community through the implementation of the residential curriculum. This position is supervised by the Associate Director of Residential Life.The Summer Conference Coordinator, under the direction of Residential Life, is responsible for the daily success of the conference program. The Coordinator responds to the needs of the visiting conference guest and event groups. Show less Assistant Director of Residence Education, Residential Life 2001 - 2007The Assistant Director for Community Development and Residence Education reports to the Associate Director of Residential Life and provides leadership in the areas of community development and judicial affairs, para-professional and professional staff and student leadership development, and direction for departmental program efforts and initiatives which support the academic and co-curricular needs of resident students.As a senior member of the Residence Education team, the Assistant Director for Community Development and Residence Education assists the Associate Director of Residential Life with the overall administration and development of the residence hall program, provides leadership and vision in new initiatives, and assumes specific program-wide responsibilities at the discretion of the Associate Director of Residential Life.
