      Graphic Designer
    • Dewberry Redpoint Ltd

      Jan 2004 - Jan 2009
      Senior Designer

I started at Dewberry Redpoint as a Designer and worked my way up to become their Senior Designer before I tried my hands at the Agency environment. Before I left I was in charge of 11 monthly magazines, 3 quarterly magazines, 2 yearly publications and several awards and events that would tie in with the publications. This was a high tempo, challenging environment, balancing workflow, designers, art workers, editors and very tight print deadlines and I absolutely loved my time there.Initial creative design for the award winning Aspire magazine, plus creative magazine design for Pub and Bar, Hotel F&B, Stockpot, Foodservice Director and FSM (Food Service Manager) to name a few. • Impact IM

      Jan 2009 - Dec 2009
      Graphic Designer

Impact IM is a UK Top 40 Creative Agency based in Marden, Kent. I worked there for nearly a year before the recession hit and I was unfortunately made redundant. However, in that year I learned an awful lot about working with large global accounts and dealing with the enjoyment of corporate guidelines for companies such as Shell, Honda, Thistle and Gouman Hotels and St Johns Ambulance. I really enjoyed my time there and it is good to see them back to full strength again.

    • Freelance Designer / Self Employed

      Jan 2010 - Sept 2011
      Freelance Graphic Designer

I went self employed after being made redundant and worked for a huge variety of companies ranging from agencies and publishers right through to start up companies and charities. I was comfortable doing initial creative right through to design and art working.

    • Bedgebury Communications

      Sept 2011 - Mar 2015
      Studio Manager

Made sure all briefs were dispatched in the studio based on individuals strengths and skills, review daily / weekly work schedules required by the creative and accounts department, ensuring work is delivered on deadline, keep all departments informed about project status, dispatching workload, managing cover for annual leave and finally resource management across both freelance and perm. As well as this my design and art working skills were put to the test daily. It was nearly four years working at this leading agency and it was a privilege to be part of the growth I watched this company make. Show less
