Nov 2009 - Aug 2014In October 2013 my role was further increased to include the running of the On-Trade sales team. The position entails a wide spectrum of duties that include, accurately forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams, negotiating annual contracts with the top accounts in Bahrain, developing On-Trade sales strategies to increase market share across the A&E product portfolio, managing and developing the sales team whilst reporting to the operations director and CEO, creating and compiling monthly and quarterly reports detailing successes, opportunities and competitor activities, quarterly and annual staff appraisals, motivating and incentivising the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales and market share targets. During my time as beverage manager I have been able to focus the sales team throughout a difficult period in the alcohol industry in Bahrain whilst increasing African and Eastern market share and guide the team to a record equalling 2013. عرض أقل . The position was broken down into three key sections, Company contingency plans, Retail product knowledge, customer service and On-Trade product knowledge. The position entailed training all staff on basic health and safety whilst simultaneously being charged with creating, implementing and enforcing contingency plans companywide through group and individual training sessions and across many different nationalities. By designing and running different initiatives, such as a mystery shopper program for our retail and home delivery services, I was able to monitor our customer service growth as well as identify key area’s that needed immediate attention.My training programs were the first of their kind for alcohol in the Bahrain On-Trade. The, “Bar tenders forum” gathered 30 of the top bar tenders from around the country once a month where I would train them on A&E products creating loyalty in our customer base whilst also increasing sales and added value to African and Eastern products.Whilst in the position I was also tasked with bringing health and safety levels up to ministry requirements during which process I gained my Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (C.I.E.H.) level 3 qualification. عرض أقل In November 2009 I was asked by African and Eastern to return to their sales team as a senior key account manager. The role itself included all of the tasks I had been performing when previously at African and Eastern when holding the Key Account Manager position but with a much greater level of responsibility.I was tasked with managing the sales team and pulling back the relationships between African and Eastern and several of our major accounts, utilising my experience and connections that I made during my time away from the company.As before I was given over 40 accounts to attend to ensure that with better relationships came greater sales.During this time I also choreographed the Corona and Carlsberg, “Summer of Football” promotion in 6 of our leading accounts, held over 15 trainings with principals in various accounts, initiated the year long, ”wine of the month” promotion in three of the top 5 star hotels and prepared and executed the “Foster’s First” bar incentive. عرض أقل
