Cost savingWe can help with advertising your vacancies, interviewing and selecting the perfect apprentice, and can even provide any initial training needs such as health and safety courses, free of charge. When you hire an apprentice we will provide you with a dedicated consultant who will complete all the relevant paperwork and introduce you to your apprentice's assessor and trainer.Alongside this, wages for new apprentices start from £2.65 per hour, meaning that apprenticeships can play a vital role in your recruitment strategy. This wage applies to all 16 to 18 year olds and to those aged 19 and over in the first year of an apprenticeship.Adult apprenticeships may attract funding and this can be discussed with you.Apprenticeship Grant for EmployersEmployers can receive up to £1,500 on completion of 13 weeks and can claim up to 10 grants each.Recent changes allow this grant to be offered to a much broader group of employers. As an employer you're now eligible if your number of employees is 1000 or below (increased from 250) and if you have not had an apprentice within the last 12 months (previously 3 years). For information don't hesitate to contact business services.
