  I spearheaded the comprehensive upgrade project of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) at Cairo International Airport's Terminal 3. My responsibilities encompassed:- Stakeholder Management: Facilitated effective communication through daily, weekly, and monthly workshops, meetings, and engagements with all project stakeholders.- Project Planning & Control: Developed and monitored a detailed phasing plan and project schedule, ensuring timely completion within budget.- Documentation & Records Management: Meticulously maintained all project documentation, creating a comprehensive record for future reference.- Technical Expertise: Led the review and approval process for the BHS Detailed Concept Design, encompassing structural, civil, and ancillary works.On-Site Supervision: Provided direct oversight of the BHS installation, guaranteeing adherence to specifications.- Cost Management: Acted as Quantity Surveyor, ensuring accurate cost estimation and project financial control.- Risk Mitigation: Conducted thorough Risk Management assessments to proactively identify and address potential challenges.Security screening X-Ray Integration: Supervised the installation, integration, and acceptance testing of ECAC standard 3 Security Screening Equipment.- System Commissioning & Testing: Led the testing and commissioning of the entire BHS, including individual Lines Acceptance Tests for each subsystem.- Contingency Planning: Drafted and implemented robust fall-back procedures to ensure smooth operation in unforeseen circumstances.- Performance Optimization: Executed comprehensive BHS performance tests to verify overall capacity and functionality of all subsystems.- Defects Liability Period Management: Oversaw the BHS performance throughout the Defects Liability Period, ensuring rectification of any identified issues.- Knowledge Transfer: Reviewed and witnessed training sessions to guarantee efficient knowledge transfer to airport personnel.
