Additionally there are many legacy applications/infrastructure running on Web Logic/Tomcat/Service Mix/Cold Fusion middle-ware that requires regular maintenance. Planning, designing and implementing the infrastructure in FOSS (JBOSS) for the applications getting migrated from legacy systems. Performed EWS upgrade for applications running on JBOSS EWS (from Tomcat6 to Tomcat7). Providing production support to the middle-ware environment which includes meeting SLAs in issue resolution, working on RCAs, problem management, change management processes. Received very good appreciation from the client for segregating the documentation about all the applications and streamlining the process. Automation of server health check monitoring and restart of servers in case of failure. This reduced a lot of manual effort and received good applause from the client. Creation and managing monitoring alerts in various tools like Red Hat JON, HP Site-scope and Sentry. Worked closely with Load Balancer team for migrating from Foundry hardware load balancer to F5 load balancer.
