  Team USA - National Team Athlete

  Selected as a member of Team USA for the 2012 Paralympic Games in London. Competed in the marathon, 800m, 400m , and 4x400m relay. Competed in the 2011 International Paralympics’ Committee (IPC) Athletics World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand (January 2011). Competed and medaled at the World Championships in Australia (2006), Ireland (2007), and South Africa (2008).

  Summer position. Served as mentor, motivator, and trainer for young athletes with disabilities. Coached athletes in the fundamentals of wheelchair basketball.

  Summer position with SCUBA diving program for teens with disabilities. Led a team of four in conducting research on the lobster population in the western Caribbean. Mentored first-time divers during week-long SCUBA certification program.

  Successfully pushed racing wheelchair 3,500 miles from Los Angeles to New York City (Spring 2013) as sole wheelchair athlete in Push Across America. Also completed Push Across Cayman, an annual 55-mile push around Grand Cayman each year from 2012 to present, to celebrate all persons with disabilities. Assist President in meetings with potential sponsors and individual donors, speak at fund-raising events, build relationships with media contacts, and serve as spokesman for the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism.
