      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate receiving of Spare parts from local and external suppliers in a manner that ensures continuous manufacturing operation as well as enhancing space utilization. Procurement of spare parts and consumables Maintenance and issue of purchase orders for spare parts after getting all relative approvals Following assigned orders portfolio of spare-parts assuring that instructions (Delivery, quantity and cost) are adhered to. Backup of Purchasing Coordinator responsible for Direct Materials Responsible for Spare parts store, Janitorial Supplies Area, Solvent/Drums Area as physical locations and inventory control. Updating stock items and reorder levels and monitor inventory valorization. Make sure that in all store areas Healt and Safety requirments are adhered to. Assist in the maintenance and development of computer programs related to spare parts purchasing Flexo's and Cliche's ordering & follow up of orders. Responsible for Petty Cash Flow (PSM) Follow up of open/back orders Evaluating Purchasing Contract  Creation of new suppliers Assure that the purchasing procedure is being followed To make use of the company van/car  Assist project leaders in project coordination Show less  This position also entiles the processes of all customs documentation for plants incoming and outgoing shipments, trailer / container sealing and data inputting. This position require that the individual has the necessary knowledge and contacts in various Governmental departments and shipping agencies to effect immediate customs clearnace and avoid delays in receipts of incoming materials and shiment of finished goodsfor export. The Purchasing Office acts as a backup in the absence of the shipping coordinator.
