Duties included drafting Contracts; drafting and issuing Tenders and assessing responses from suppliers; Contract negotiation and price agreements for major equipment as well as consumable spares. Was part of the RSL team that won a Ministerial Procurement award for the Joint Sentinel Team and also received an RSL CEO and senior MoD Commercial commendation for proactively supporting the Customer during a period of under resourcing, using my MoD background to assist them with raising Contract Amendments. Prior to that, duties covered: Responsible for Commercial activities in Raytheon’s T45 Navigation and Bridge Systems (£50m+); including bid preparation for additional scope, with involvement in contract price and scope change negotiations with BAe Systems as the prime customer.
