Managed directorate policy, procedures, priorities, goals, and objectives. Directed the effective and economic development of materiel systems. Coordinated and executed matrix fieldings. Interfaced with all Department of the Army levels, and other commands and services. Identified and solved CECOM readiness issues. Developed and applied new concepts and methods of problem resolution for CECOM electronic systems and equipment that were adversely affecting U.S. Army readiness. Supervised staff of ten.• Instrumental in garnering a formal partnership between the Directorate and the Security Assistance Management Directorate. The synergy created by this alliance spurred exponential growth to Readiness Directorate training capabilities which enhanced the sales support provided to customers.• Led 500+ Logistics Assistance Representatives, New Equipment Training Specialists, Materiel Fielders, Electronics Sustainment Support Center and Regional Support Center Managers, and Senior Command Representative geographically dispersed at 39 locations around the world.• Driving force to formulate a plan to recruit and train CECOM Life Cycle Management Command Logistics Assistance Representatives to support the United States Army’s transformation to the Unit of Action and Unit of Engagement structure.• Implemented a plan to stage tools and test equipment within the deployment area to preclude each technician from shipping their own tools and test equipment in and out of the deployment area. Achieved a cost of $250,000 annually. • Supported Operation Iraqi Freedom; Operation Enduring Freedom; Army Force Generation and Army Field Support Brigade and CECOM Life Cycle Management Command Organizational Alignment.• Defined the resources required to achieve a viable and sustainable force structure.
