      Sept 2018 - Jun 2021

Working on key policy areas such as human rights, and continuing as the fundraiser in a limited way, I am now responsible for central operations. Following the successful merger of UNA Exchange with WCIA I work to embed M & E throughout, consistency in all organisational policies and safe working for all staff and volunteers. I started as Trusts & Foundation fundraiser and soon took on additional fundraising tasks such as supporting tendering, and improving individual donor journey. Responsibility for all communications and volunteer management followed. In this busy internationalist team, multi tasking is essential. Making linkages between changes in the policy environment, campaign aims and fundraising opportunities is key to success.

I manage the day to day operations of this busy international exchange organisation, as it steers its path to merge with sister organisation, Welsh Centre for International Affairs. I also ensure smooth running and financial management of the European Solidarity Corps funded international volunteering programmes, group international volunteer programmes and independent international volunteering, I ensure the reporting meets exacting EU standards, prepare new grant applications and negotiate work contracts. After supporting the trustees through the final accounts, staff transitioned over I am handing the programmes on to others. Show less
