      Activities and Societies: Spent junior year abroad in Strasbourg, France For my Senior Thesis Project, I assisted ISU's Dr. Ken Stone in developing a regression model to predict the aggregate retail sales for each of Iowa's 99 counties. The model, incorporating 8 variables, determined that those counties with significant shopping mall space benefited at the expense of those neighboring counties without mall space.

      Vantec founders Willie and Bev Van Wyhe established aggressive quality objectives: customer returns not to exceed 1,000 PPM, internal scrap not to exceed 1.00% PPM. These goals make everyone in the organization strive to launch new parts with zero defects and to continuously improve all aspects of our business.My responsibilities are to ensure new parts meet every customer expectation, and have outstanding Cpks from a dimensional perspective. In addition, I publish a quarterly, post-launch summary that describes how well new parts perform compared to the founders' quality expectations. Show less
