  As part of the programme team who delivered the corporate Oracle e-HR system, I occupied two roles:Business Analyst (2006-08): Process mapping and process re-engineering with the HR and payroll teams. Produce functional specifications to inform the build of the new e-HR system. Contribute to user testing. Produce desktop guidance and act as a superuser.Management Information & Data Analyst (2008-09): Work with IT specialists and statisticians to develop a robust reporting framework that would support our working processes and policies. Responsible for SG monthly and annual employment returns to the Office for National Statistics, and the co-ordination of monthly HR returns to Cabinet Office for SG and 16 of its agencies. Show less

  Project based post tackling specific areas of improvement in the programme:3rd project (May 2023 to October 2023): Set up a governance and reporting framework to support delivery at pace while maintaining control and monitoring of 29 work packages in response to a direct commission from the Cabinet Secretary.2nd project (2022-May 2023): Development and management of the Master Programme Tracker focusing on programme controls and governance. Based on the original configuration management spreadsheet, i developed a tool encompassing all aspects of the programme and providing a single source of truth for programme key documents and decisions affecting scope, timescales and budget.1st project (2019-2021): Set up and manage a local PMO team to offer more direct support to 10 Product Owners/Project Managers at the critical initiation stage, including production of business cases, budget forecast, risk & issue logs and delivery plans. Using my experience to coach and develop a high-performing team able to promote the application of high PPM standards. Show less Working in this high profile and complex project gave me the opportunity to engage with a wide range of senior stakeholders and Ministers as the Games cut across devolved and reserved matters and a number of portfolios, including that of the First Minister. My responsibilities focused on developing C3 arrangements with UKG and Scottish departments and agencies, and facilitating relations with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to support a programme of Ministerial visits for the Queen’s Baton Relay and the planning of the opening and closing ceremonies. Provide active advice and support to NHSScotland project managers to help embed the methodology.2nd project (2010-2013): Contribute to the introduction of portfolio management to eHealth and the development of a supporting governance framework.
