  During 2010, Jim began also working with clients who are outside the RE/MAX System. To date, Jim has Coached/Trained Real Estate clients in a total of 37 Countries, Commonwealths, Territories and Kingdoms.Jim began his Real Estate career in 1974 as an Agent. In 1978 he joined Century 21 of South Texas and Louisiana as a Trainer/Consultant. As part of the Regional Team, he helped to build Century 21 to number one market position in Houston, Texas (and top 3 in Louisiana).Jim joined RE/MAX of Texas in 1985 as a Recruiting Specialist. He has since been the Regional Director of RE/MAX of New England and Regional Director of RE/MAX Southwest.From 1987 to 1995, throughout the United States and Canada, Jim coached and trained more RE/MAX Broker/Owners and Managers in their Real Estate offices on the topic of Recruiting than any other person.Since 1999, Jim has worked extensively with the Regional Franchise Owners in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In 2005, together with Gary Schnarr, Jim developed three of the RE/MAX Europe “Career Development Model” Courses (for Broker/Owner Office Development, for Associate Success and a Broker/Owner Course on Effective Recruiting).Jim also teaches advanced courses for experienced Real Estate Associates, Broker/Owners and Franchise Sales Consultants.Jim conducted extended Franchise Sales Coaching Programs in two Regions: RE/MAX Turkey and RE/MAX Italy. The following year after these Programs, each of these Regions earned the Award as the top 1 or 2 Franchise Sales Regions in the entire RE/MAX System Worldwide. The credit for this success goes to great Regional leadership and outstanding Franchise Sales Consultants. From 1999 to 2009, Jim trained more Regional Franchise Owners, Broker/Owners and Associates in more countries in Europe than any other person. Jim is the recipient of one of the highest Awards in RE/MAX: The coveted “Distinguished Service Award” presented by RE/MAX of New England. Show less
