      Activities and Societies: President of University Students Union University Ski Club Windsurfing Edinburgh University from 1978 - 1984 Subsequently from 1993 - 1996.Graduating MD MBChB.I was president of the Medical Students Council and President of the Edinburgh University Students Union during a sabbatical year. I was student representative on University Court. I enjoyed all aspects of medical school but seemed to be drawn to organisation and representation, nothing has changed over the years.
