Worked 5th floor rough and 3rd floor trim of Tampa Veteran’s Hospital until Water resource building start. Electrical foreman at new Water Resources Building(WRB) in St. Pete on 5th Ave North over 30,000 sq ft. Involved in WRB: Field orders, Utilized underground PVC and stub ups for homeruns and panels located outside main electrical room, to lessen core drilling through solid poured walls that surrounded electrical room. Also to save costs in materials, labor and time using ladders and scissor lift to cross 30ft and higher building steel. Scheduled shutdowns with Johnson controls and the city of St. Pete so I didn’t cut power suddenly possibly damage control boards, boilers, pumps, having to recalibrate or reprogram sensitive equipment. Managed a crew of 6 to 20 people depending on deadlines, kept supplies stocked for no down time. Had to order supplies and plan for scheduled shut downs. Installed and pulled FA system with relay to annunciator at security station, for a 3 zone system. Transformers, ATS, Generator, Chiller’s, parking lights, VFD’s, relays throughout buildings that switched all lights over to Generator power when lighting panel lost power. Show less

Ran a Jimmy Johns sandwich shop in the beginning after that: Complete service upgrades on houses and mobile homes, many odd jobs from residential to industrial buildings, docks and boat lifts, elevator pit’s, service calls, update old electrical systems in commercial buildings to meet current code. Remodeled much of Florida Blood Services (FBS) Annex building then at FBS main installed generator that intercepted all chillers, coolers, freezers, centrifuges and other equipment. multiple new transformers and panels , intercepted and transfer power source for equipment with either scheduled shut down for minimal down time. During the FBS generator job I was sent to oversee two donor centers one in New Port Richey the other in Dayton and a printing press in north Saint Petersburg. The two donor centers were new build outs that were smaller versions of FBS main. The press was a tear out and install of an existing building. Show less
