      Second Place: Senior Design Showcase Penn State College of Engineering Dec 2010 This project took second at a design showcase of all Mechanical Engineering students. Our team worked closely with our project sponsor, Travis, a US veteran who is a C5-C6 complete quadriplegic. Travis wanted to compete in Olympic-style shooting competitions, but found the current assistive technology limiting. Our team designed and fabricated a device that allowed Travis to hold, aim, and fire his rifle.
