Supporting the growth and development of Leadership at all levels. Plan, coordinate, and direct leadership training & development programs for all levels of leadership within the organization. Lead, develop, and inspire a staff of Leadership Development Specialist. Drive excellence, high performance, and results utilizing forward thinking leadership. Certified in leadership programs to support the strategic development of the employees in the command. I began to analyze, design, develop, deliver and evaluate training that focused on the critical competencies identified to influence effective results as a leader. Understanding that leadership is not a position it is a role that can be acquired at all levels. Began NNSY career in the Apprenticeship which I attended for 4 years while being mentored to become Marine Electrician during the day and attending classes after work. Following graduation to a Journey"man" I worked as an Electrician Mechanic on naval vessels. Along the way gaining my Greenbelt Certification and beginning to incorporate process improvement into the workplace processes.
