  WaSH Engineer

  In this role, I had conducted geophysical surveys, collected and interpreted geophysical data, and recommended suitable drilling sites for boreholes. I supervised the drilling process, including the construction of Hand Platforms and installation of HP. After drilling, I conducted pumping tests on the newly drilled boreholes and carried out additional duties as requested by my immediate supervisor.Additionally, I had been responsible for water quality testing and monitoring, as well as surveillance activities. My duties extended to overseeing the water treatment process, conducting laboratory analyses, and implementing environmental sanitation projects. I was actively involved in the construction and maintenance of various types of latrines, as well as the disposal of solid and liquid wastes. Hygiene promotion and infectious control were integral aspects of my responsibilities.Furthermore, I had experience in the preparation and conduct of proposals, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and the development of scope of works and drawings for construction, rehabilitation, and upgrading activities within the WASH sector. Managing staff, planning, and supervising logistical operations for the supply of materials related to the WASH sector were also key components of my role. Show less
