  With over 20 years of architectural experience, LEA has been involved in numerous projects mainly in the areas of North Bay, Sudbury, Sturgeon Falls, Mattawa, Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. As individuals, Jean and Ruth bring to the firm experience in institutional, recreational, commercial and residential design, as well as urban and museum planning acquired in Ottawa and the Toronto region. LEA‘s design philosophy considers, planning and facility design rests on the three fundamental guiding principles of sustainability: environmental excellence, economic viability, and social responsibility. We work with each client in a collaborative forum to determine the user’s needs and objectives while suggesting the widest range of innovative alternatives possible. In accordance with the ‘three principles’ approach, we propose a variety of innovative solutions within the program guidelines that will contribute to overall environmental and economic quality and social awareness within the facility.
