  Managed church events for a congregation of more than 250 people and lead other practical matters for the church.- Managing building projects in the church which involved dealing with self-employed traders, co-ordinating with commercial companies and overseeing large-scale structural and plumbing projects on the building. Being the main representative of the organisation to these outside parties meant I had to be diligent at all times.- Helping organise and oversee major events in the church calendar. Such duties helped me communicate clearly and manage people effectively to facilitate successful events.- Public speaking which has strengthened my ability to lead people through oral communication.- Organising weekly transport to and from the church for over fifty children living in some of the poorest areas in the UK. I had to acquire voluntary drivers, arrange transport routes, manage youth leaders and deal with behavioural problems that arose.- Help come up with creative marketing techniques and innovative ideas to further advertise the church and its aims.- Administrative tasks in the running of the organisation such as financial aspects, helping implement health and safety standards and dealing with practical problems.- Galvanising and encouraging all members of the church to be actively involved in different ventures in the life of the church.
