I was responsible for a majority of the communication within and regarding SWE. I acted as liaison and facilitated collaborations between SWE and other organizations while also acting as liaison between the executive board and its members. I worked to understand the goals of the national organization and worked to find areas of potential improvement within our organization. College of Engineering Student Activities Committee Representative - July 2017-December 2017This role focuses on SWE's involvement with other organizations. I attend monthly meetings with a majority of the College of Engineering student organizations and the dean of the college of engineering. We discuss what's going on in each of our organizations and how we can help or collaborate with each others' respective organizations. I had the pleasure of being the event coordinator for Freshman Night, which is one of Northeastern SWE's largest fall semester events.   I interned at Ashland Inc. full-time for 6 months in the maintenance department. Working for both the maintenance manager and senior project engineer, I performed a number of tasks and projects.When I arrived, I started off labeling reactor systems and redlining/updating process and instrumentation diagrams. I worked on the site's Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) project in which the plant's maintenance work was advancing towards being more preventative than reactive. Throughout the co-op, I shadowed and assisted the maintenance personnel as well as the maintenance manager in some of their daily tasks. Towards the end of the co-op I performed calculations and created associated equipment limitation requirement estimates for an HVAC (heating, ventilation, Air-conditioning) system in the plant's warehouse.   • Optimized the efficiency of the material preparation processes for the fuel cell stacks• Characterized materials using profilometry and porosimetry. Applied this empirical data to theory and implemented the resulting information into an Excel fuel cell model. • Fuel cell model optimization allowed me to make performance predictions in stack component configuration changes and component design upgrades. • Performed stack tests and used Excel macros to summarize resulting data into analyzable graphs such as polarization curves. • Disassembled and visually analyzed post-mortem stacks for further empirical data on stack performances.   I started at Schneider Electric in the Sales Development Program from August of 2020. Then I transitioned into the industrial territory sales engineer role. I cover the Las Vegas, Albuquerque, and El Paso territories. Working with our distributor partners, I develop both the distributor and Schneider businesses through transactional industrial automation and power product sales for those areas.
