  I am conducting research on cytoskeletal dynamics, specifically that of microtubules and the impact of post-translational modifications of microtubules on cell behavior. I am applying molecular cloning techniques, biochemical assays and live-cell fluorescence microscopy approaches in this project, and performing data analyses and statistical tests.

  Leading and participating in emergency 911 calls at Rosedale Volunteer Fire Company in Rosedale, MD, providing appropriate first-responder, out-of-hospital basic life support while transporting patients to various appropriate facilities to receive definitive, life-saving care.I am collaborating with a team of incredible EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, and policemen, to provide emergency out-of-hospital care.

I joined the lab of Courtney Schroeder Ph.D. and was mentored by and worked under Nuria Cortés Silva Ph.D.I conducted research on the evolutionary role of the cytoskeleton and its regulatory elements, specifically that of Actin Like 9 (ACTL9).
