  In this role I have had the privilege to provide technical safety engineering expertise and support Americas operations assets for capex projects, manages HSSE incident data for trading and supply, and provide HSSE reporting data to TSO (Trading & Supply) management. In this role, I facilitate process safety review meetings, provide coaching to the construction safety lead, serve as independent assurance provider for construction safety during job execution. I developed contractor HSE management process with C&P team and initiated contractor banding exercise in BGC for both brownfield and greenfield. Subsequently, improvement plans were developed which were tracked in quarterly BPRs. In addition to this, I developed local content for CSSS program (which later became part of Shell Group) and launched across organization. Active member of global contractor council to bring forward challenges pertaining to CHM and work with the team to build and share best practices.  Support Contract Holders in analyzing HSE risks, preparation of Contract HSE Plan & provide support during pre-mobilizations and mobilization activities Evaluation of bids on HSE elements & select contractor for award, kick started contractor green banding program. Support HSE Adviser and Contract Holder in steering contractor HSE performance improvements. In partnership with Contractor Holder, implemented bi-monthly HSE performance reviews with contractor company, covering KPIs, incidents & follow-up, outstanding audit actions. Projects encompassing compressor stations rehab (USD 20mln), 58MW GTG power plant construction (USD 45mln), Jetty 3 construction & non hydrocarbon projects (off shore residential camps). Show less  Support HSSE manager in ensuring implementation of HSSE standards across Shell & contractors owned retail stations with special focus on new RVIs (during construction phase) & RVIs that are divested. Support retail PCRO team to safely deliver PCRO projects by closely working with legal and environmental team in ensuring Shell PK rights and obligation were protected for sites which were either acquired by Shell or divested.  Project managed pilot roll out of FIM in retail Pakistan including providing hands on training to end users & numerous other roles. Analyse monthly potential incidents & near misses across Retail East, identifying problem areas through deep dives & advance analytics, sharing problem/underlying areas with OU retail HSE Manager to take proactive measures in preventing PI to turn as actual incidents.  Analysing fatal safety and security incidents, doing detail investigations, looking at root causes & latent failures. Common themes of root causes were then shared with wider audience to prevent repeat occurrence. Successfully managed the implementation of project PK2+ (Project knight), this project primarily dealt with the removal of armed guards from Shell Retail sites, the Goal of this project was to achieve zero fatality which rose-up drastically due to armed robberies at retail stations. Focal point for retail PMTDR (people make the difference real) – a reward & recognition program for retailers, TM, & RMs Act as a Retail East gatekeeper for FIM – Ensuring data in FIM is accurate, consistent, and reliable. Recognised by GM retail for successfully organizing safety day for Retail PK on June 11, 2008, including dealers and contractors Show less
