      This post-graduate qualification was completed over two years and I graduated from the MA with distinction. The course had a strong typographic emphasis with my final year project involving typeface design and phonetic applications for fonts. The curriculum also taught research methodologies and self analysis, and I believe it significantly altered the way I approach a new design project.

      I designed and project managed print related jobs over a six year period. Day-to-day responsibilities included scheduling and budgeting, commissioning illustrators, photographers, models and make-up artists. I also liaised with authors and in-house editorial staff and worked with repro-houses and production personnel. Other duties included the design of promotional and sales material.

      During my employment with this award winning design studio I worked with numerous publishers on a diverse list of titles. Clients include Penguin, Harper Collins, Orion and BBC books. Other projects have involved DVD and audio CD packaging for Opus Arte and Gimell records. I have designed brochures and magazines within the culture and arts sector, and worked on commercial advertising campaigns.
