  Leading of a team of of 38 people responsible for the design and systems integration for all Telecom New Zealand Network broadband, mobile and voice services. Design work included IP Network Services, Fast Internet Service (ADSL), Voice over IP, International Point of Presence nodes, Call Centre, Interconnect and various Mobile services. Managed the transition for the outsourcing of approximately 100 Engineering and Planning people from Telecom into Alcatel.Led the Services portion of the Outsourcing/Partnership agreement with Alcatel including negotiation and preparation of the schedules for the outsourcing of the fixed engineering and planning functions to Alcatel.Professional Services lead for the TVR (Total Vendor Relationship) selection panel for the choice of the sole fixed equipment and services vendor and partner. Prime focus was to avoid duplication of effort and to leverage scale by going with one vendor/partner. Development responsibility for the establishment of the Mobile Digital Transition project to change to CDMA (from TDMA AMPS/DAMPS network).
