Show less Responsibilities to include:Together with the CMIO and the clinical informatics team, the ACMIO works with members of clinical programs and platforms to facilitate the design, use and measurement of healthcare IT systems. Engages and facilitates planning and strategy discussions with clinical program and platform leaders, develops an understanding of clinician needs and builds relationships with physicians to facilitate their use of information systems in clinical care. Improve and optimize workflows and EMR-skills in the user base to maximize the effect of clinical IT on STEEEP parameters. Responsible for clinical content in the EMR systems. Identify opportunities for Clinical Decision Support rules, reminders, alerts, and messages to help use the EMR to identify patient safety issues. Assist with implementing a system-wide analytics effort, including technology, data sources, and governance. Guide participation in and compliance to government and payer clinical IT programs: Meaningful Use, PQRS, and any programs which succeed these programs (MACRA / MIPS etc.). Collaborates with the clinical informatics team on curriculum development for clinical information systems implementation and adoption. Assist in the design of expert rules, reports, analytical reports and dashboards, documentation templates, order sets, and other clinical content components of healthcare IT systems.
