      Bene Merenti University College Cork Apr 2012 A Bene Merenti is one of the few university awards that appears on an academic transcript. The award is given to recognise commitment and great effort to improving the clubs or societies of UCC. The award is given to six people annually in societies, one of which is subsequently selected as Society Person of the Year. Following an interview process I was fortunate enough to be awarded the Society Person of the Year Award from this group in addition to the Bene Merenti.

      UCC Society Person of the Year University College Cork Apr 2012 Society Person of the Year is awarded to one student annually from a shortlisted group who each receive a Bene Merenti. This award recognises commitment and dedication to UCC societies. I was awarded this following my work with the Drama Society.
