  Provide leadership as head of a shift working FIFO 2/1, fabricating structural steel and constructing dry mining units, pumpskids, slurries and mobile mining low loaders. Drawing on, and applying 5+ years of Boilermaking skills including: ☑ Maintain and repair plant equipment; Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu and Hitachi bulldozers, excavators, dump trucks, articulated dump trucks, graders, scrapers, and water carts. Mended dolly A-frames, reskinned and built trailers, replaced walking floors and repaired fifth wheelers. Reskinned dump truck tubs, buckets and mobile plants.☑ Cut materials: Use Oxy, Plate mate tractor, Plasma and Plasma profile cutting practices confidently.☑ Fabricate components: Construct building and machinery structural components including earthmoving machinery handrails, staircases, shed beams and mobile plants, responding confidently to new challenges.☑ Welding techniques; Gas, metal, flux-cored, IG arc welding (aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel), gasless, robot and internal dimensions welding. Skilled in plate/pipe bending, air arc/oxy gouging, and thermal lancing, bending earth moving guards and panels, replacing bucket adaptors and using thermal lancing to remove pins.☑ Interpret drawings and blueprints: Evaluate and respond to specific requirements with attention to detail. ☑ Operate equipment: Electric, gas, arc welding equipment and hand tools including band saws, drop saws, universal plate cropper, guillotine, bender, rotator, and operate heavy machinery including cranes, forklifts and gantry.☑ Promote OHS: Complete all tasks with strict adherence to OHS standards, legislation, and company policy.
