  Part of the events management team for the 2016 Cape Town 10s festival. My duties included player relations, managing player and staff accreditation and access permits, dealing with sponsors, and site layout and planning. I was also involved in hospitality management for the South Africa vs England cricket series at Newlands, Cape Town, at the beginning of the year. My work experience taught me how to draw up and manage budgets, how to create sponsorship proposals, how to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, how to develop relationships with clients and potential customers, as well as how to work on different projects at the same time.   Worked as an operations manager at a startup grassroots football academy in Shanghai, China. The focus of the academy was on the grassroots development of Chinese kids through dedicated skills training. My roles were to help launch the academy through various marketing techniques, to oversee and help manage the daily operations of the academy, and to develop and participate in the coaching plans and methodologies.

  Was part of the International Management Group (IMG) team at the Indian Premier League (IPL) where my role was Assistant Tournament Operations Manager. My responsibilities in this role were to oversee the overall daily cricketing and match operations for the matches that took place in Chennai and Pune. The role involved working with a number of high-level stakeholders and facilitating the smooth running and execution of the various stakeholders’ responsibilities.
