  Aruabits is a school that gives disadvantaged youth of West Nile an opportunity to learn webdesign and other computer related technical skills. The digital journey had 40 youth (24 female, 16 male). West Nile is a community mixed up of sudanese, ugandans and congolese immigrants in a small town at the corner of uganda. this a a community that mostly borders along the great River Nile. Some of my duties were and not limited to:Curriculum development - whereby we held workshops to develop the curriculum and customize it to the local content. Recruitment - I managed 4 staff members whom i interviewed and recruitedBrand development - I developed the whole corporate identity for the school from Business cards, brochure, website, staff IDs e.t,cCapacity building TOT - i did capacity building for community organisation to sensitive them about the training program. the benefits and Impact on the community.Community mobilizing and fundraising e.g. worked collaboratively with over 20 community based organisations and raised money that was used for training and sustainability of the programmeDisseminate a basic management philosophy to guide all (4 staff members) organizational personnel toward optimal operating results, boost employeee morale and member satisfaction Show less
