      • Inform students, faculty, and administrators about the 35 nationally competitive scholarships managed by ONCS, including the Rhodes Scholarship, Fulbright U.S. Student Program, Knight-Hennessy Scholarship, Churchill Scholarship, Goldwater Scholarship, etc.• Advise students on the nationally competitive scholarship process, including expectations, application materials required, evaluation criteria, endorsements, timelines, deadlines, and resources.• Assess scholarship eligibility and alignment based on an individual student’s academic record, leadership experiences, extracurricular activities, background, goals, and future plans.• Assist in developing written materials, including personal statements, statements of grant purpose, leadership essays, essays on programs of study, and short answer questions.• Strategize with students on letters of recommendation and discuss best practices for requesting them from administrators, faculty, staff and community members.
