      The Great Recovery is an RSA initiative that aims to create a more circular economy through the engagement of sustainable design thinking across the board.Ran the Great Recovery website and social media, supported the the day to day running of the project. My key achievements were;- Supporting and developing the growth of Great Recovery’s partnership with public makerspace, Fab Lab London, through physically improving the space, and building relationships.- Representing the Great Recovery in the House of Commons at events on national design and manufacturing policies.- Learning how to use and manipulate Fab Lab tools to meet my objectives.       The Bromley by Bow Centre is an award winning community centre in Tower Hamlets, East London. They offer a range of integrated services across healthcare, social care, education, employment and benefits. My role was to provide innovation in a priority area of focus, with a sustainable impact. Alongside day to day support across all services, my key achievements were;- Running and reinvigorating a floristry class for adults with learning disabilities as part of the social care service.- Developing, writing, and producing a community consultation guide with and for staff members, to encourage better engagement with the ‘customer’ - the service users.- Beginning as a volunteer, but having the value of my contribution and input being recognised and as a result being rewarded financially.       On behalf of the Greater London Authority (GLA), with three other course members, I organised and facilitated an open space event. This style event encouraged the discussion and development of innovative ideas on the future of London’s high streets and workspaces. The workshop kickstarted the London Regeneration Fund Project initiated by London Mayor, Boris Johnson.My key achievements were;- Curating and producing inspirational content in a range of formats from print to installation.- Delivering an event that set itself apart from other GLA events as being interesting, useful and innovative. 96% of feedback was positive.- Successfully piloting new workshop and idea generating methods specific to the GLA and its work.       The Bromley by Bow Centre is an award winning community organisation, whose aim is to create healthy and resilient communities. Located in one of the poorest wards in the country, Bromley by Bow in East London, it pioneers an integrated services model which recognises the need to look at the social determinants of health when supporting the health and wellbeing of people and communities. It is co-located and integrated with the Bromley by Bow Health Partnership.During my role I:- Ran the Bromley by Bow Knowledge Share Programme; a series of events, group visits and consultancy that support other organisations/communities/groups to translate the Bromley by Bow model into their own contexts. In 2016 we welcomed over 1,500 people from 700 organisations worldwide ranging from healthcare, government, and the voluntary sector through to design, social enterprise and education- Supported a two year research project evaluating the Bromley by Bow model and its impact on the local community- Supported organisational service design and innovation across both the Bromley by Bow Centre and Bromley by Bow Health Partnership using co-productive and person centred design methodologies Show less

      Recruited into the charitys’ first multidisciplinary test and learn team, developing new initiatives to increase cancer prevention and early diagnosis in deprived communities.During my role I:- developed the charities first socially driven product development methodology influencing four other teams in the department to adopt aspects of it- took a new volunteering programme from test and learn phase to market, translating & scaling the solution onto a digital platform (Facebook) using agile principles- developed and piloted a stop smoking referral service in three CRUK retail stores and a Tesco superstore that successfully prompted an increase in stop smoking referrals in all pilot areas (exact results TBC)- presented evidence and recommendations in reports and meetings that challenged our current products/services and strategic priorities, in order to improve our impact- self initiated a role supporting teams to adopt test and learn ways of working through strategic consultation, workshop facilitation and networking teams to skills support in other parts of the charity. - self initiated with one other a new stream of work to encourage creative external insight and talent to CRUK through organising and facilitating a one day challenge to design students at Kingston university Show less
