  I am currently working as a Secure IP & Data Engineer for Vodafone UK. I work in a NOC environment and work on a 24/7 shift pattern working days and nights.My main responsibilities are to monitor the Vodafone Secure Network which includes customers such as the Government and The Emergency Services; and raise any necessary faults that occur. As well as this I also monitor the Government Managed Encryption Service (MES) which includes our top secure customers.My role also includes: - Analysing faults at first/second line level with customers and Other Licensed Operations (OLO) to determine the best possible plan of action or appropriate team to engage. - Performing first line diagnostic checks on new faults and engaging the correct resolving agency. - Managing existing faults to completion - This includes current and historic faults meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) for Data Solutions. - Raising Field Engineer Requests (FER) to engage Field Engineers to attend customer and network sites for testing, equipment checks and equipment replacements.
