  During my tenure, I was part of the Hardware Critical Support Team and Internal Support R&D Team where I performed intense code and hardware reviews with other engineers to recreate the "Bug" found and implement a hardware/software fix and report back to the customer with tight SLAs.I used Tornado VxWorks to debug live microprocessor code as it executed and the use of various low level logic testing equipment for signal analysis to correlate all RTOS commands for board bring up and main program execution.Redesigned hardware interface board (EthCon) that would allow Firmware Engineers to remote execute/deploy code to the Infinity PBX motherboard. This allowed remote engineers to collaborate from all offices and work with different teams on the same PBX to help re-create any bugs and fix any field issues in a more expedited manner.Worked on multiple PWB redesigns to incorporate new components for end of life components and to perform cost reduction on current parts with new smaller less expensive footprint parts.   Primary focus was on the James Webb Space Telescope where I performed radiation and cryogenic testing of flight level part lots to ensure mission life success. In addition I worked on Ground Support Electronics payloads that supported the testing of the JWST mirrors for radius of curvature and actuator drive.Provided FPGA code artifacts for the Hi-Rise telescope to aid in the CCD capture timing to ensure images had good quality.I played a large role in the development of custom control electronics, that included Xilinx and Altera FPGAs, and CPLDs using Verilog and/or VHDL comprising of over 30,000 lines of code. These designs incorporated the use of IP Cores for FPGA RISC based processors. Extensive integration testing using ModelSim for RTL design check out along with Leonardo Synthesis, Xilinx XST and Altera compilers. Performed circuitry analysis using PSpice circuit layout, and Signal Analysis using Matlab. Did UI design using LabVIEW for realtime control and drive of the electronics and supporting software..Designed multiple FPGA cores for a high speed memory and communication software test benches for Two Axis Rate Assemblies (TARA) and Star Tracking guidance sensors.   Lead the design and implementation of SaaS financial software using .NET and LAMP stack technologies that had over 25 billion in assets being managed and monitored for mortgage credit risk and quality control.Oversaw the growth from an initial 5 person startup to more than 900 employees in less than 4 years, that included acquiring office spaces, data centers and helping form business units such as Program Management, Infrastructure and Software Development.Managed multi-million dollar budgets and negotiated/maintained vendor contracts to ensure infrastructure was ultra secure and could provide large scale growth and reliability. Initially led software and infrastructure business units of about 35 team members at its peak. After business units were established and up and running I moved to provided leadership for the Infrastructure Business Unit. During this period I set career paths for a multi-functional team, consisting of Server and Network Administrators, down to the IT customer service team.Ensured that the latest technologies were evaluated as to help enhance security and productivity for end users, that give a high ROI. Some of these technologies where PAN Firewalls, with RSA Envision for complete end to end monitoring and logging of all actions within the network. Also implemented Tipping Point IDS that fed into RSA envision that would trigger alarms and help shut down any suspicious ingress or egress activity.Incorporated EMC VMAX arrays for full data at rest encryption along with using FAST technology to help tier workloads in the array for our data warehouse and application usage. The storage solution used Recover Point for asynchronous point in time replication that had an RPO of 15 seconds and it was coupled with VMWare SRM play books to give our total RTO to less than 1 hour with VM recovery to the secondary datacenter, with all services online and fully operational.   During my tenure at EMC, I helped clients manage their IT growth and increasingly aggressive demands on their IT ecosystem to become leaner, quicker and more agile by presenting EMC solution sets that would help them accomplish their initiatives.I initially helped solve complex issues surrounding how to scale and ingest mass amounts of data that would work with Network Attached Storage. I helped design and present ISILON solutions for EDA, video transcoding, user home shares and large scale security camera installations. I then transitioned to the Enterprise Mid-Range Specialist Division, where I provided expertise on all EMC core products, such as VMAX and VNX. My interactions were to help design VNX and/or VMAX solution proposals with sales teams and also help triage and diagnose any customer issues.After about 4 months with the EMSD team, I was invited to join the Enterprise Sales Team for Colorado. I had several named Enterprise accounts where I worked with each of them on their long/short term roadmaps and strategic initiatives. I helped created and present EMC solutions that ranged from backup and recovery, ALL Flash Core products and XtremIO along with Hybrid Cloud solutions using VBlock and VMWare software modules aimed at giving a dashboard of services for end-users to choose from.   Brought onboard with the acquisition of my company REXHUB. Built API platform allow full integration with proprietary Loan Quality software platform and external service providers.Led the implementation and migration of primary datacenter to AWS along with setting proper security groups, VPN endpoints and VPC attributes. Configured Elasticache Redis and Memcache clusters for application cache and ASP.net viewstate storage. Configured and setup Elastic File System (EFS) for highly transient document operations platformConfigured and implemented AppDynamics performance monitoring for end to end visibility from user request to the data repository and back. This helped with identifying and resolving application bottlenecks and database issues.Implemented Elastic Beanstalk environment with custom created AMI's that integrated with code pipeline for automated deployment and configuration of applications. This drastically improved the CI/CD model from using a straight one-to-one server deployment, to an entire fleet of web servers. This enabled autoscaling based on application performance metrics.Standardized VPC setup across multiple AZ's and regions along with implementing best practices for application security. Used Classic and Application ELBs with SSL certs that were managed by AWS Certificate Manger. Implemented Route 53 integration with Active Directory DNS and implemented IAM roles paired with AD security groups for federated authentication to the AWS console.Implemented multi-AZ Aurora RDS clusters for production and lower level environments.
