  Led UnitedHealthcare's Pharmacy business, which included the Medco relationship and team dedicated to provide administrative support services. I was responsible for all aspects of Pharmacy and Specialty Drug Benefit Management for UnitedHealthcare. During my tenure, UnitedHealthcare Pharmacy more than doubled in size to provide pharmacy benefits and management for employers, commercial and government, representing more than 14 million individuals and $11 billion in prescription drug spending annually. Approximately 8 million of those individuals were covered under UnitedHealthcare fully insured products, with the remainder managed under ASO arrangements with many of the largest employers in the U.S. I joined UnitedHealthcare in November 2001, relocating from Chicago where I was Vice President, Customer Operations for Searle/Pharmacia’s U.S. business. My career prior to joining UnitedHealthcare includes 21 years of executive leadership experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, with a couple of years leading a start-up healthcare business in Colorado.I received a B.S. degree in management from Purdue University, an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and I’m a Certified Public Accountant.
