  In April 2020 I was promoted to Building Leader at Metlife. In addition to my existing tasks, my new responsibilities now included managing, planning and scheduling for all the members of the reception team. This included planning and scheduling shifts for the team members on a monthly basis as per the requirements of the business. I also provided guidance and development support to all the team members and developed a positive team environment to promote stronger teamwork. I joined Metlife in 2018 as a Receptionist for the Japan head office located in Tokyo. As part of this role I worked with and supported clients in both English and Japanese languages. My main responsibilities in this role were managing client visits and meeting room reservations. I was responsible for ensuring clients checked in and out of the building, were escorted to the correct meeting room and that the meeting rooms were prepared in advance.
