  On a shift basis, direct all activities of production, engineering, technical and contractor personnel in the Scunthorpe Cast Products, Semi Finished Products area, ensuring that all operations, maintenance, quality and customer standards are safely met, economically and within agreed environmental parameters, whilst controlling the processes and movements of productsShift Co-coordinators are responsible for the operation of the Concast Slab Yard, Caster 4 and Caster 5 dispatch, and dispatch of semi finished products from Redbourn. Reporting to the Plant Manager SFP, they may change priorities, stop or change operations, and deal with customer complaints.Execute daily, weekly and long-term plans for the department to achieve quality,production and availability requirements, to suit customer requirementsOversee the activities of all plant personnel, to ensure these requirements are met safely within budget and with due regard for the environment.Apply standard operating, maintenance, quality,safety,environmental and emergency procedures for all activities carried out in the department,including dealing with major incidents. Liaise with suppliers and customers (both internal and external) to ensure that agreed requirements are understood and met. Show less
