      I’ve been an international volunteer in Condebamba, a little village close to Cochabamba, in Bolivia. Among many others, the main tasks were the following:• taking care of a class of children between 5 and 7 years old by helping them in managing with their (home)work and organising after-school activities;• collaborating with local voluneers in organising activities in an orphanage and in a juvenile prisons;• supporting nurses in the little gynaecological emergency clinic; • organising free-time activities for the community of Condebamba with other volunteers;• providing food aid to the poorest families of the area;• visiting indigenous communities on the mountains (Potosì and Bolivar) and in the tropical area (Chapare province) for providing food, medicine and other basic and essential necessities Show less
