      2003 – 2006 Division Officer, USS OHIO (SSGN 726) Supervised the operations and training of 3 divisions of up to 15 technicians and mechanics. Oversaw the operations, maintenance, and repair of various systems onboard a nuclear submarine, including reactor instrumentation and control, hydraulic power plant, compressed air, refrigeration, steam turbine, and damage control equipment. Certified by Naval Reactors as a nuclear power plant chief engineer.2006 – 2008 Assistant Professor of Naval Science, University of Utah NROTC UnitDirectly supervise 70 personnel. Responsible for the selection and preparation of Naval Nuclear Power candidates. Instruct all personnel in Navigation and Naval Engineering, which includes steam cycle, gas turbine engines, diesel engines, thermodynamics, hydraulics, nuclear propulsion, electrical theory, and heat transfer.
