Jan 2002 - Jun 2020Co- lead for two major engagement and culture initiatives driving positive movement on internal and external colleague benchmarking, both being key strategic HR objectives for the UK business:- Colleague Insights: building a proactive qualitative, theme-based change programme based on colleague workshops, delivering over 40 insight events across 8 core engagement themes. The Big Conversation was the first cross-business, insight programme garnering support of senior leaders to drive meaningful change and represented circa 32,000 colleagues. Through events and a bespoke online platform, insight was analysed, built into robust governance reports and presented by to the UK Executive team for action.- Onboarding and recruitment transformation: Change programme for branch and contact centre colleagues in the UK. Focused on insight gathered from internal and external employee engagement surveys, the programmes primary objective was to change the journey colleagues undertake when joining the organisation. Successes include reduction of time onboarding, revenue saves of over £1m, upskill of local leaders to interview, recruit and train new employees, a more dynamic and fast paced learning journey that has the employee at the heart to better equip them for their new roles. Results on most recent employee engagement survey demonstrate the improvements made with a positive shift in all branch and contact centre employees.Retention of national HR generalist duties in support of employee lifecycle, pay and reward and recognition. Show less Lead HR communications and events role with key objectives to build a new communications plan and operating rhythm for the Retail Banking and Wealth Management Senior Leadership team and deliver a bespoke recognition initiative to ensure all UK distribution colleagues circa 14,000 colleagues were reached.-Delivery of Retail Banking Wealth Management Recognition initiative for circa 14,000 employees through a bespoke engagement platform #Extraordinary -Co-designed and delivered a new operating rhythm to the HR communications team including the introduction of national group team meetings for Contact Centres and Branch employees , compliance and procedural management and the first UK distribution communications runway.-Chaired the bi-weekly Distribution Communications Forum bringing together key stakeholders including Employee Communications, Learning, and Development, Business Runway Management, Risk, Retail Transformation, and Marketing. -Project managed several UK wide initiatives including the annual UK Extraordinary People Awards, Global Centre of Excellence event, At Our Best Recognition, and all Senior Leaders’ Roadshows and events. -Provided communication, creative and logistical support to senior leadership team including development of senior leaders’ programmes and the creation a new UK Contact Centre Strategy.-Retention of national HR generalist duties in support of employee lifecycle, pay and reward and recognition.
