      I worked to identify and characterize the halophilic life present on the Bonneville Salt Flats using cultivation techniques, microscopy, and molecular methods including the isolation and sequencing of the 16SrRNA gene. As a Resident Advisor I am a peer leader that oversees approximately 35 residents. This includes performing weekly on call responsibilities, helping to check residents in and out, coordinating hall programs, mediating roommate conflicts, holding monthly meetings, and enforcing the Student Code of Conduct of Westminster College. I work to provide a safe, secure, and academic environments for my residents to live in. I worked in a team setting to build, paint, and furnish theatrical sets. I also worked in hanging, programming, and running lights as well as designing, setting up, and running sound for several theatrical productions. As a Student Assistant I was responsible for aiding patrons in finding library materials, organizing, cataloging, and shelving library materials.

      I oversee the analytical validation studies required for regulatory submissions for all in-development BIOFIRE products. This role encompasses designing and overseeing all aspects of study execution in alignment with regulatory requirements. Critical thinking, effective and efficient decision making, and risk mitigation are all important attributes of the position. Activities include managing timelines, resources, and budgets, developing protocols, training lab personnel in experimental design and execution, data evaluation and communication, and synthesizing findings into study reports.
