My focus in class was on grammar, speaking, and listening.       ESL Department Chair: Created a dual-course curriculum for our Humanities department, consisting of a Humanities ESL and an EAP Humanities course. Humanities ESL classes honed our English Language Learner's creative writing in an attempt to strengthen complex verb constructions, metaphorical awareness, and meaning-making with an eye toward better understanding these linguistic choices. Whereas our EAP courses provided academic writing practice that fortifies grammar, formatting, and study skills. These courses' content were historical, theological, philosophical, and literary. Sat on the Academic Policy Committee, where the leaders of the departments met to discuss the ever-changing goals of the institution. Developed a skills-focused curricula from grade-based to narrative-based assessment, integrating Canvas LMS into a 'normal' year, and helped move the school toward a Mastery Transcript system. Grade Level Leader: Coordinated with up to ten teachers and staff to create the entire 'Integrated Work' class for the tenth grade. Planned trips for up to sixty students, devised interdisciplinary lessons, and ensured narrative and trend grading practices were utilized.
