Provide in-depth end to end analysis of customer usage data to improve the customer delivery algorithm, for an innovative world-wide subscription based model, which provides ink-as-a-service for customers. Predict future usage, generate and validate cost reduction projects and enhance customer experience. • Employed several data mining and predictive techniques in SAS in order to optimize variable triggers in the ink fulfilment algorithm at an individual customer level, ensuring timely delivery and increased customer satisfaction. • Implemented clustering and classification techniques in R, in order to segment customers based on trends in historical usage data. Prepared tailored business proposals for these segments resulting in a reduction in shipment frequency and improved programme profitability.• Proposed a bespoke fulfilment solution for highest usage customers based on data modelling and led the implementation of a cost savings project targeted at these customers, resulting in an annual saving of >$2M. • Used Toad/SQL Server to query the database in order to provide on-going and ad-hoc analytics for the subscription cost optimization team. Reported findings through QlikView enabling the team to monitor, in real time, trends in customer behaviour and also any potential risk to customer satisfaction resulting from projects led by our team.• Collaborated across multi-disciplinary teams in order to generate technical solutions to drive the cost-effectiveness of the subscription based business model. Provided guidance and influenced key stakeholders on how to best prioritise these projects based on marketing requirements, return on investment and impact to business. Show less Development of new ink solutions for HP’s consumer and small business sector. Understand market needs and gaps in current portfolio, design and formulate a new ink to meet these needs and manage development from concept to scale-up. • Led the complex technical development of a new ink product. Designed, produced, tested and analysed iterations of unique ink formulations targeting a specific performance based on customer needs analysis.• Predicted failures throughout the development cycle using Arrhenius data modelling. Analysed failure distribution and worked with reliability engineers to optimise variable parameters of the proposed data model. • Managed the integration of the ink into the over-arching product schedule / roadmap through the co-ordination of a cross-functional, international team of chemists, engineers and testing partners. This project was successfully brought through a stage-gate procedure and upon completion, responsibility was passed onto the product owner.• Owned the relationship with external ink supplier partners, bringing them through the development stages and enabling them to scale-up and produce the final product subsequent to development completion. Demonstrated effective communication and negotiation skills throughout this process whilst managing IP sensitivities. Show less
