  I work as a lecturer in Limerick School of Art and Design across a broad multi-disciplinary area.I lecture in the Film, Photography, Video programme as well as Sculpture and Combined Media and Print and Contemporary Practice. I lecture in digital and analogue photography and video production and installation.Having exhibited, managed and curated many exhibitions and outdoor projection events over the years, both nationally and internationally, I also bring these experiences and skills to my teaching and workshops.I have lectured in the art college's Department of Art and Education for many years, where I teach a module in web design. In addition to this I was one of the founding lecturers on the Masters in Art and Education, a ground breaking online masters programme in the college. Show less

  Exhibiting in Wom@rts a series of international exhibitions in seven countries 2019-2021

  http://www.womarts.eu/activities/roaming-exhibition/The objective within the project is to present the works produced in the artistic residencies from 2019 onwards. This will contribute to internationally promote the 40 participating artists (curators, printmakers, poets, creators of comics & illustrators, lens based media artists). The exhibition will be presented at the partner’s locations (for 2 months each), starting with the World Premiere in Maribor, Slovenia in March of 2019 and finishing in Rijeka, Croatia, European Capital of Culture, in April of 2020. A joint catalogue will be designed with a common layout and made available online on the project webpage once the roaming has concluded. According to the partners’ experience, and to the fact that the exhibition will be opened in parallel to key events, we expect it to have an average of at least 5000 visitors per month (some 70.000 in total). In 2019, a Roaming Exhibition of the prints and originals of the works produced in the residency will be held, following the scheme below:March – April 2019: World Premiere! – Opening in Maribor, Slovenia. May – June 2019: Opening in Limerick, Ireland. July – August 2019: Opening in Vilnius, Lithuania. September – October 2019: Opening in Avilés, Spain November- December 2019: Opening at Santiago de Compostela. January – February 2020: Opening in Angoulême, France.
