  Working as part of a team, I was responsible for making sure all areas of the establishment ran smoothly. This included, taking money from customers, handing out golf clubs and score cards, serving ice cream and drinks, finding or replacing lost balls and keeping the property looking nice (watering plants, removing litter, cleaning bathrooms, etc). I enjoyed the responsibility given to me in this job and did my best to be proactive and helpful for the four summers that I spent there.

  As a summer job, I worked as a pub bar staff member. Working as part of a close knit team of people, I used my teamworking skills and developed my multitasking skills by keeping one eye on what is going on around the pub while also making drinks for cus-tomers. This involved noticing when we needed more glasses, keeping an eye on our stock and making sure that the pub, and attached beer garden, were kept clean.   - Elected representative for the Welfare and Wellbeing of 37,000+ students at University of Nottingham- Won an online election against 5 candidates by utilising social media (particularly TikTok, Instagram and Facebook), designing eye-catching and recognisable campaign branding on Canva and talking to over 200 students about the issues they care most about- Designed eye catching graphics for social media that were shared and liked by over 250 students. - Represented student views to University committees such as People and HR and the Senior Tutor Network - Created and executed Union wide campaigns including Postgraduate Wellbeing Week, Estranged Students Solidarity Week and Root To Relaxation. - Prioritised tasks flexibly as I sought to both deliver on my election manifesto targets and effectively deal with unforeseen events as they arose. - Recognised a gap in student support services as they pertain to Estranged Students (those without parental support) and lobbied the University to offer these students the needed additional support. My efforts were rewarded when I was asked to draft the Stand Alone Pledge letter which was then signed by the University in July 2022. - Appeared on ITV News East Midlands and BBC Breakfast, representing my views on Student Mental Health and Misogyny as a Hate Crime.
