    • Volunteer experience while at CSUS

      Sept 2008 - Dec 2010
      Volunteer

In the Sacramento region I have volunteered at these events: California Capital Airshow, Merrell Down and Dirty Mud Run, Aerospace Museum of California Crab Feed, Titan JROTC Drill Meets, Sacramento Emergency Housing Center, Soup Kitchen, Pioneer House, and the Spooktacular. The public likes to see companies who give back to the community. With my experience in numerous volunteering events I can provide the company with insider knowledge on what events are worth their involvement. This can further the company in the community and if other regions get involved in their community, in turn further the company worldwide. Show less

    • Learning Skills Department Sacramento State

      Feb 2011 - Aug 2012
      Instructional Student Assistant

As an Instructional Student Assistant my day was broken into two parts, grading and teaching. While the students are taught their lesson, by the professor, I graded and recorded students’ homework, in-class assignments, and tests. Once the lesson has been taught the professor leaves and I instructed students on how to complete their daily in-class worksheets. If a student had a question I answered it by going over the lesson again or reminding them of a previous property. All of the students were freshmen, so I mentored them on future education goals and any Sacramento State questions. Show less

      Oct 2012 - Mar 2013
      Deli Clerk

At The Fresh Market I worked in the back preparing party trays and ready to serve meals and also in the front at the deli counter. When I worked in the back I followed specific guidelines with intricate designs to create up to 18 inch party trays. These trays took a specific eye to create their exclusive designs and attention to detail in cutting and placing the different products. Also, with exact weights for each ingredient, I prepared wraps, sandwiches, salads and pizzas. When I worked at the deli counter I communicated with customers to efficiently serve their food orders and answered any questions. *Note: anything on my profile regarding The Fresh Market represents my own views and not those of The Fresh Market Show less

      Apr 2013 - Jun 2015
Special Project Team Lead and Quality Control Specialist

While at Valligent I started as an Underwriter and worked my way up to Special Project Team Lead. As an underwriter I wrote reports for the customers that analyzed real estate appraisals. My next step in the company was to the new department of Quality Assurance being a Quality Assurance Specialist. This is where I analyzed reports that were prepared by appraisers and I gave them my feedback focusing on product and client requirements and conclusion justification. Soon I became the Senior Quality Assurance Specialist where I led my team by managing our workload, trained team members, ran daily reports and logged client and company change in procedures. As the company grew so did I as I became Special Project Team Lead. I then managed more people, ran more in depth reports that focused on tighter deadlines and trained throughout the day. Show less
