      • Developed design documents for V.34 and V.90 modems.• Managed the voice coders project that developed G.711 (PCM), G.726 (ADPCM) algorithms and the G.723.1 and G.729 vocoders.• Responsible for system level integration of the V.22bis full-duplex modem on the TI TMS320C51 DSP over the NMS multi-line AG board.• Developed call-progress analysis and DTMF generation/detection algorithms for the MSP/CX multi-line PCI board (awarded the “Best of the CT 98 Expo” by the Computer Telephony Magazine).• Developed a sophisticated baud-timing recovery scheme to overcome the short training problem of the V.17 receiver implementation on a memory-constraint environment.• Real-time implementation of the V.23 and the V.17 modems on the TI TMS320C50.• Memory-efficient real-time implementation of the Viterbi decoder on the TI TMS320C50.• Designed and developed algorithms for the continuous PSK modem (V.23) transmitter and receiver.• Prepared design documents for a caller-ID product (Commetrex PowerCID product).• Greatly enhanced the receiver performance of the V.27ter and V.29 fax modems used in the MultiFax product (awarded the “Product of the Year” in 1994 by the Computer Telephony Magazine.
