I worked with Talent 2 Debt Management team to review their systems and processes with the aim to provide them with tools to improve accuracy and efficiency reducing the need for costly and resource heavy workarounds.       The NZISM project addressed the activities required to uplift IT Security across MSD to better align with Protective Security Requirements and by association the NZ Information Security Manual (NZISM). The activities I was tasked with included:• Monitoring existing initiatives to uplift cyber security• High level analysis of Secure Coding and Development practices across all development areas to better align with NZISM and by association OWASP top 10• Provide support where required for the implementation WAF across all external facing web applications. Analysis of internal high risk web applications that would benefit from additional security making use of existing F5 application gateways.I found the role both challenging and rewarding in that I was able to learn a lot about IT Security and how it should be incorporated in the IT Infrastructure and the MSD environment. I worked closely with UX Designers, Web Leads, Salesforce Functional and Technical Leads, Testers, Product and Business Owners, and Change Managers, to name a few. CVIP inspired me to complete a Product Owner Course and start my Salesforce Trailblazer journey.I also provided business analysis capability for the Pharmacovigelence Management Solution, working with Medsafe, the Pharmacovigilance Centre and MoH Vaccine Safety and Surveillance to understand the current state and future state requirements. I worked collaboratively with the Architects (Data, Enterprise and Salesforce) to inform the design of a solution that aligned with ICH E2B Standards and and the future direction of Health NZ including Fast Healthcare Interoperability (FHIR) alignment.
