  During my first year of university I became a Project Manager for Management andEconomics Student Association (MESA) Most Valued Protégé (MVP) Final Event. I wasmostly concentrated on the marketing activities of the group; however, I was also incharge of weekly reports and a cooperative structure of the team. This gave me aperfect opportunity to develop my organizational and communication skills. Whileworking on the MESA MVP Final Event I had to use my knowledge of various computerapplications in order to come up with innovative presentations.   At Toronto Hydro (TH) I had an opportunity to design, test and implement two customexcel databases A.S.A.P. (Automatic Scheduling and Analyzing Platform) and C.E.T.(Customer Engagement Tracker), both of which required business cases prior todevelopment. A.S.A.P. allowed for real time tracking of current TH projects as well asautomatic real-time and monthly reporting. The platform I developed had an ability toanalyze information and provide feedback on performance. Upon completion of thisproject there was a significant reduction in time spent on administrative tasks allowingfor a more productive team. C.E.T. allowed users to record customer engagements andassess consumer satisfaction. In order to ensure flawless operation of systems after myCo-op term ended I spent several weeks training co-workers and creating detailedmanuals.   This position gave me an opportunity to manage projects including business case development, reporting improvements and process enhancements. I developed a business case for internal database automation, this required me to gather information using SQL language and analyze the data to provide the most accurate cost benefit analysis. I was also responsible for developing an appropriate project scope to enhance proprietary tools for reporting and performance monitoring. While working on the projects mentioned above and many others I developed a though understanding of SQL language, workflow analysis and database management.
